  We are pleased to announce the 30th Annual Conference of the Write On Calligraphers to be held on May 4 & 5, 2012 at  Edmonds Community College.  Our Keynote Speaker will be award-winning lettering artist and illustrator Barbara Close.

  Over 20 experienced instructors teach a wide variety of classes, including calligraphy hands and paper-oriented arts. Most classes are small; please register promptly on or after March 19. Please see the LOJ Archives for past classes taught.

  Registration, Keynote Address and Vendors Market are all in the Woodway Hall, located in the southwest corner of campus next to the golf course.  Limited parking is available in front of the main entrance.  Follow LOJ signs to the other parking areas.

LOJ Exhibit 2012 -

All Letters of Joy participants are invited to bring artwork (limit: two entries per person).

Matted pieces should be covered with clear material.  Framed pieces must have wire.  Presentation size 8x10 max, 4x6 min.

Each piece of artwork MUST BE LABELED.  Labels will be available at the exhibit.

Participants are allowed to sell their artwork.  Write On Calligraphers asks a 10% donated commission on all sold work.
Classes:
Classes at Letters of Joy 2012 will held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 5th at Edmonds Community College in Lynnwood, Washington.

$85.00 All-Event Package for WOC members
$100.00 All-Event Package for non-members
$110 All-Event Package & WOC Membership Dues
(Canadians: $115 in US Funds)

*All-Event Package includes lunch on Saturday.

Student Scholarships:

Three scholarships will be offered to high school and college students age 18 and older.
To apply, send a letter in your everyday handwriting stating why you would like to attend.  Include your name, telephone number, email address and the name of your school.  Mail by Aprl 6th to Write On Calligraphers, PO Box 277, Edmonds, WA 98020-0277.  Write: "Attn: LOJ Scholarship" on the envelope.

8:00 -   Doors open for pre-registered guests.
           Registration for Saturday-only guests.
